Our Team

 

Karen Bardoe started Caringlinks Ltd in Derby in 2013 having been a Registered Nurse and  Registered Manager of a Nursing home and subsequently Nurse lecturer.​ Karen qualifications are: Post Graduate certificate in interprofessional mentoring teaching and assessing. BSc (hons) in Nursing studies (Manchester University) Registered General Nurse (RGN)Nurse Lecturer Registered Manager Skills Coach up to level 7 Internal Quality Assurance Assessor. 

 

Working in the office and alongside Karen is  Emma Jervis who has recently achieved her level 5 Management Award and is working towards  becoming the Registered Manager of Caringlinks.

 

 Naomi Troop is our Office Manager and responsible for a team of administrators ensuring the smooth implementation of the day to day running of the business.

 

The office team also consists of Claire Smith, Leah Torr, Courtney Smith.  Each of whom play an important role in ensuring quality care is given to each of our service users.

 

Each one of our carers are passionate about the role they perform and the care they give.

 

We recognise that high quality training for our staff and employing the right person for the role is key in enabling us to deliver that care.​ At Caringlinks all staff have:​full enhanced DBS checks. ​Have the right to work in the UK and can speak an excellent level of English. All staff provide their relevant work history and give proof of their qualifications.​ Full training is given to all staff before commencing  their role. For example this includes: Moving and Handling, First Aid CPR and AED training, Infection Control, Safeguarding and protection of vulnerable adults to name but a few.​

 

Working closely with Derby College  all of our carers have either already  achieved or are working towards their NVQ  in Health and Social Care levels 2,3 or 4. ​Senior carers  work within their teams and are responsible for ensuring that standards are met. This includes undertaking  supervision and spot checks of carers within those teams. offering full support as required.​​
